This property has been in my family for 109 years. It was moved "from the country" in 1903 upon the birth of my aunt. Although remodeled many times it still remains a charming Victorian family home. It has 3 bedrooms on the 2nd fl. and another bedroom on the 3rd fl. The 1st fl. has a hallway, Victorian parlor (now a den), living room, large dining room, and modern kitchen and adjacent powder room. Living room has a flat screen TV, 2 couches, TV with VCR, a Victorian couch, and door to the hallway. It has 3 windows to the front porch. The dining room has a table that seats 8 people comfortably, a sideboard, and door too the outside yard and driveway. The kitchen has a new microwave, stove/oven combination, refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer combination and other appliances. It has a window to the outside and door to the dining room. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, hallway, and 2 baths, one with a shower and the other with a shower and tub. A stairway goes to the 3rd floor that has one bedroom with 3 twin beds. The 3 bedrooms on the 2nd fl. have 2 with twin beds and the 3rd with a double bed. The back bedroom has a door to the bath and another door to one bedroom and has no private entrance. Exterior has been freshly painted, and new wallpaper inside. Lovely garden outside.
Lawn with clothesline, covered porch with rocking chairs, a driveway that parks 3 cars, and street parking for 2 more. It is 3 blocks from the Broadway beach and 5 blocks from the downtown mall. There is also a market and restaurant 2 blocks away. It has central air conditioning and gentle breezes from all windows. The neighborhood is quiet and stable.
For 2020: Now pet-friendly (1 dog under 60 lbs.), pet rent $150/week.
