Holly House is one of the historic Atlantic Terrace houses sometime referred to as the" 7 Sisters". The house, designed by famed architect Stephen Decatur Button, was built in 1891-92. Enjoy the ocean view from the terrace porch, walk down to the beach via the terrace or watch the evening carriages and walking tours go by on the street side porch. Holly house, under the ownership of one family since the early sixties, has been an inn, year round family home and now a thoroughly and freshly renovated vacation rental. This house has a lovely airy feel to it with 10 foot ceilings on the main floor. The first floor holds the brand new kitchen, spacious dining room perfect for big gatherings, comfortable living room with loads of room to watch the flat screen TV and a central hall area with a piano and dazzling stairwell that winds up to the second and third floors. Both 2nd and 3rd floors have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 master bedroom per floor). There are ocean views from both master bedrooms. The basement, which has full above ground windows, has a second full refrigerator, TV, games, and two queen size futons. There is a full bathroom and laundry room and separate outside door. The street side yard has a grill, clothesline and fence. The terrace side yard leads to a path to the beach that comes out on Beach Ave, then cross the street and you are on the boardwalk. Cleaning Fee applies to all rentals. THERE IS A LOADING ZONE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF HOME ON JACKSON TO UNLOAD AND LOAD. 4 PARKING SPACES, 2 on site and 2 on a nearby permitted lot. 3 night rentals available.
