Your Petoskey Bathing Beach condo is right in the heart of Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay area, where the sun feels warmer and the sky seems bluer. It’s situated alongside 303 scenic acres of Petoskey State Park, where your family can soak up some rays on the beautiful sandy beach, swim in the crystalline waters, watch sailboats glide across the bay, climb dunes, and explore. The park beach is best accessed by car if you are bringing a cooler and chairs or have small children in tow. The walk is invigorating and perfect first thing in the morning. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the 3 total miles of hiking and cross country ski trails on two designated routes inside the park. Bring your blades and bikes to ride along the Little Traverse Wheelway. This bike path between Charlevoix and Harbor Springs runs 23 miles, so grab your water bottle and hop on, it’s right outside your condo door. Within walking distance across the street you can find everything you need to stock the kitchen during your stay. Step into the Toski Sands Market for specialty groceries, cut to order fresh meats for your grill, or take-out homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. Toski Sands Party Store will set you up with cold beverages and snacks. You’ll crave the scrumptious freshly baked breads and scones at Crooked Tree Breadworks. Takeout baskets of golden whitefish from Scalawags. Harbor Springs is exactly 5 miles north of the condo and Petoskey is 5 miles south. Charming downtown shops and boutiques, galleries, superb restaurants and live entertainment can be enjoyed in both towns and in between. This area offers incomparable year-round activities for everyone of all ages and abilities. Approximately 22 golf courses are within a half-hour drive from the condo. Michigan’s first-class ski areas, Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob, are almost 10 minutes away.
