Spend the lazy, hazy days of summer on the Caribbean-blue waters of Torch Lake at Lakeside Lodge. You’ll have breathtaking views, particularly the marvelous sunrises over the crystalline waters from this location on the mid-western shore. A western Red Cedar interior, brick fireplace, and several unique antique collections highlight the décor of this home. You’re sure to spend a lot of time on the large deck or downstairs in the family game room. This vacation destination provides opportunity to enjoy countless recreational activities, including fishing, swimming, boating, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, biking and even bird watching. You’ll find 4 bikes in the garage to take for a ride on the winding road alongside the lake and through the area’s attractive landscape. An anchoring buoy is provided, so bring along your boat up to 22ft. A public launch is less than ˝ mile from the cottage, and rentals are available in nearby Elk Rapids. When planning your boating excursion, be sure to follow the Chain of Lakes including Torch, Bellaire, Clam and Skegemog. Enjoy scenic drives along Grand Traverse Bay and the many local inland lakes. Both novice and experienced golfers will revel in the 36 holes of world-class golf at nearby A-Ga-Ming. Gourmet restaurants, quaint shops, museums, antiques, specialty food stores, and art galleries are only to name a few of the venues found in charming sightseeing villages within minutes from the home. Be sure to visit Charlevoix, about 30 minutes away. Traverse City, also a 30-minute drive, offers a full range of shopping and urban amenities and Cherry Capital Airport.
