The Jonathan Higgins House is a historic shingled Colonial Cape located in Orleans. The original portion of the home is believed to have been built in 1750 and later resided in by J. Higgins, who was the Town Clerk and Treasurer of Orleans in 1850. Later owned by Margaret Stanger, it is the location where she wrote the beloved book, "That Quail Robert."
